Florida is world renowned for its subtropical climate. Florida citrus growing regions are divided into the following districts

  • Indian River District
    Narrow strip approximately 100 miles long and 20 miles wide along Florida central east coast.
  • Sunridge District
    Central Florida, from Leesburg down to the Arcadia area.
  • Gulf District
    Southwestern region, Ft. Myers and Labelle area.


Grapefruit

Flame
Dark Red interior, sweet, with no bitterness.

Marsh White
Light to medium yellow, tangy and juicy
            Available Oct - Mid May


Ruby Red
Light red interior, blush rind, sweet and seedless.
                Available Oct - Mid May 


Oranges


Navel
Rich sweet, and seedless. Deep orange color. Unsurpassed as a "dessert" orange.

Ambersweet
Easy to peel, deep orange color. Flavor has  a little zip.

Hamlin
Light, refreshingly clear taste. Pale color

Red Navel
Honey sweet and a little spicey

Pineapple
Juicy and sweet, hint of pineapple aroma.

Valencia
Excellent for eating and juicing

Sweet and rich in taste. True to their name - they are the "Honeys" of their variety.
